The ADS forms a virtual dome over Elysium Sanctuary City, conceptualized as a geodesic mesh with MAMD units stationed at each mesh point. This dome ensures 360° coverage, detecting and intercepting threats from all altitudes, including low-skimming cruise missiles, drones, and vertically descending rockets. The MAMD, operated by the Brain-in-a-Box, uses high-resolution cameras (200 fps) and hybrid propulsion for hovering and intercepting. The system operates autonomously, replacing human operators with AI-driven defense.
Elysium Sanctuary City: Circular layout, 10 km diameter (radius 5 km, area ~78.5 km²).
Dome Altitude: 5 km (to cover subsonic/supersonic planes and hypersonic UAVs).
Mesh Structure: Geodesic dome approximated as an icosahedral grid, with each face subdivided into triangles. A standard icosahedron has 20 faces; subdividing each face into 4 smaller triangles (level-1 subdivision) results in 80 triangles.
