Detect any type of object in any type of stream, regardless of object size, orientation, diffusion, obfuscation, obstruction and independent of quality of stream, degree of embeddedness, and occurrence context. The general purpose object recognizer (OR) is part of the BiaB (Brain in a Box) system. Targeted architectures are fully autonomous nano/pico drones, leading the way to ALF (Artificial Life Forms). For example, the object recognizer comes in both Java and non-Java flavors and runs on just about any computing device. The armeabi-v7a platform non-Java executable is just a few dozen KBytes in size and capable of reaching about 30 frames/sec processing speed on modern android devices (i.e., Pie). Furthermore, the executable packs a JPEG decoder, all image processing functions, and the actual object recognizer. The OR can operate on OSs like Android, Apple Mac, Windows, Linux, POSIX, and many embedable OSs etc. The OR can also operate in clandestine mode and process snapshots independently taken by a second standard Android App, analyze the images by searching for target objects, and pass those found to a locally operating web server. The discovered objects can then be viewed via the Web on any device- via the target devices ip address - as a live stream. (e.g., OR sideloaded via Hotspot and executing as a background system process). It is also possible to read the hidden/protected data stores of installed third-party and system apps, either by having the OR operate on a host device, or directly on the Android device. The device can be non-rooted and OEM unlocked (No modification of Bootloader required; bypasses Knox security on Samsung devices). Operates on all modern Android devices (Orio, Pie, etc.)
